Both of those are heavy sites. Both paint in under a second.

Do not take my word for it — they are live, open them and time them yourself. The second one ships twelve megabytes of video and imagery and still puts pixels on the screen in seven tenths of a second. Fast is not the same as empty. It is a build decision, and it is the one I make every time.
